            REGISTRATION FEE: $4

            PROGRAM PERFORMANCE: Sunday, August 8^th at 9:30am during Worship Service

Genesis Family Camp registration will go through next Sunday, August 8.  Registration table in the Fellowship Hall. Cost is $50 for those over age 5, free for those under. Camp will be at Pilgrim Cove Camp on Payette Lake, Aug. 27-29th. Registration includes lodging Friday and Saturday nights, meals Friday night through Sunday brunch, waterfront and craft activities, and a whole lot of fellowship and fun. Both cabins and RV sites are available. If you’re interested in helping with registration, plan activities, or in other ways, please contact Michael Ciscell at 461-0240 or Rick Gutierrez at 466-3808.

 

Southside Youth Group has been meeting weekly with teens from Nampa 1st UMC.

Junior group is 6^th- 8^th grades and Senior group is 9^th -12^th grades.

 

Meeting Schedule —

   August 1       Senior Youth Outdoor games at 1^st UMC 5-7pm

   August 8       Junior Youth    3:30-6:15pm

                        Roller skating at Nampa Rollerdome $5 entry, $2 skates,

                        bring extra money if you want snacks

   August 15     Senior Youth meet at 1^st UMC at 2:30pm

    Trip to Old Idaho Jail        Cost - $5

   August 22     Junior Youth 5-7pm 1^st UMC Waterfight Round 2

   August 29     Senior and Junior Youth

                        Trip to Wahooz meet at 1^st UMC at 3:30pm RSVP to Anthony

 

Faith in Action Outreach Opportunities

* Southside helps provide lunch at the Salvation Army the 2^nd Friday of each month. If you’d like to help, contact Sara Allen at 466-5020 for more information.

* Bring non-perishable food items for the red wagon in the narthex. Donations placed there will be taken to the Salvation Army Food Pantry.

* Help at the Idaho Food Bank - every 3^rd Thursday, 6:30pm at the Boise office,
