Last year 40 children dressed in aprons came to work at “Under Construction” by Habitat for Humanity (HFH); ready to create and give back to our community. They stayed busy making crafts and learning about the Bible through our daily themes of Caring, Sharing, Learning and Worship. They created art work that is currently being made into a quilt by Marilyn Nelson ., along with a fish key holder that will be presented to the newest HFH homeowner later this fall. In four short days the VBS children raised $433 in donated items which were taken to ReStore, a HFH affiliate in Caldwell , and $114.56 was collected in offerings that went directly to HFH. For those of that may have missed VBS the art work that the children created and the house that Dave Gangwer built can be seen in the classroom next to the fellowship hall. Please note the “Back Row Boys” characters on the roof top drawn by our local artist Professor Gaymon Bennett.

A big thank you goes to everyone that made this such a successful fun filled week.

Thank you
