The trustees in the Methodist Church and at Southside Boulevard UMC are charged with supervision, oversight, and care of all the church property and equipment.

The trustees and/or the pastor may grant permission to an outside group to use the church facilities only when such use is consistent with the Social principles and ecumenical objectives of the United Methodist church.

Subject to the direction of the charge conference, the trustees shall receive and administer all bequests made to the local church, shall receive and administer all trusts and shall invest all trust funds of the local church in conformity with laws of the country, state, or like political unit in which the local church is located.

A trustee’s note book is kept in the church office so any member or visitor may log observations of things needing repair or replacement. Notes suggesting improvements of the church or grounds that would improve the looks or accessibility of the facility are welcomed.

This committee meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 6:30PM.
