The Staff Parish Relations Committee(SPRC)is made up of at least five but no more than nine members of our church. The book of Discipline states that the group should be the least homogenous group in the church and able to relate to and represent various constituencies within the church. Our primary mission is to assist the pastor and staff (which includes the Administrative Assistant and the Choir Director)in assessing their gifts and setting priorities for leadership and service. We do this by reflecting biblically and theologically on the role and work of the pastor and staff as they carry out their leadership responsibilities. It is our responsibility to communicate with the church council the utilization of the gifts of the pastor and staff on a regular basis.

The SPRC cannot function efficiently or effectively without the direct input of members of our congregation on any and all aspects of the performance, spirituality, leadership and service of our minister and staff. We try as individuals and as a committee to solicit input from the congregation personally but it is extremely helpful when members come to us with suggestions, recommendations and positive or negative feedback. Our church is only as strong as we all make it.
